Cyclone Separators
Cyclones are dry scrubbers used to remove particulates from an air stream. The gas enters the unit tangentially, imparting centrifugal force. As the vapor rotates downward, solids are pushed towards the outer wall of the vessel where they fall to the bottom via gravity. Clean vapor then travels up and out the central tube resulting in clean air at the discharge.
Particle size, quantity and gas velocity all impact the overall removal efficiency of cyclone units. Best Environmental R&D facility has the ability to do pilot testing to ensure unequaled performance in a compact size.
